About the Role The Resort General Manager is responsible for the effective management and leadership of the Kingfisher Bay Resort including People Leadership, Food & Beverage operations, Rooms Division operations, Maintenance, Strategy and Business Growth, Risk and Safety Management, Financial Management and Customer Service.
Key responsibilities include operational efficiencies, leadership, customer service, safety, financial management and strategic direction.
About You To be successful in this role, you will be an effective communicator and will have substantial experience in the management of hotels &/or resorts.
You will have extensive leadership experience where you promote team effectiveness and share a compelling vision with team members.
You will also have strong financial management experience, as well as experience in strategic and business planning and implementation, dealing with the media and crisis management.
Knowledge and experience in managing a business with a strong focus on safety and risk will help you excel in this role.
You will have sound knowledge of the political processes that may impact on the business and ideally have experience in change management.
