Your Opportunity: As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in Residential Aged Care, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.
You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our wonderful Clients.
Our Plena Care Pathway has been designed to provide our therapists with an opportunity to tailor therapy programs for our residents, built from resident goals and priorities, and delivers evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions and group based active aging services.
Duties will include: Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.Your Career with Plena: In addition to an awesome team environment and competitive salary based on experience (which is reviewed yearly), Plena Healthcare prides itself on a genuine work/life balance where flexibility is key!
