Our Reservoir Officer works as part of the Headworks team which is responsible for dam safety together with catchment and land management. Barkers Creek, Lauriston, Malmsbury and Upper Coliban reservoirs provide opportunities for public recreation, including on-water recreation. These public spaces are well maintained and a source of pride for the team and broader organisation.
This role role also includes duties to monitor the Coliban Water recreational facilities by ensuring all activities occurring on Coliban Water owned land and water storages are appropriate and comply with company policies, relevant by-laws, regulations and legislation. 
A snapshot of your day As our Reservoir Officer, you'll be accountable for:
Assist in monitoring land use and development within the reservoir catchment Supervise contractors as directed by the Reservoir Controller Conduct patrols and surveillance on Coliban Water owned land and water storages to ensure polices, by-laws, regulations and legislation are being adher Provide accurate water storage levels and inflow data to internal customers in a timely manner To be considered for the role, applicants should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
Water Industry Certificate II or a similar qualification or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience with mechanical equipment, concreting, corrosion protection, welding, environmental management, and weed spraying An understanding of the Victoria water industry Sound like you? The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2 ($62,475 - $72,897 plus super) salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
