The opportunity Located in Australia (Melbourne, Adelaide or Canberra) Full-time, ongoing role Opportunity to lead and enhance the MERL activities across various development and humanitarian programs Key responsibilities Develop and refine mixed methods evaluation methodologies and MERL framework, including innovative approaches Write and present high-quality evaluation reports and other client-ready deliverables Build and manage client/stakeholder relationships, including building stakeholders' capacity to achieve their objectives Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with donor requirements Demonstrate technical excellence by managing all aspects of projects, from project inception to producing client-ready deliverables Lead a range of small to large, complex evaluations from project inception to close-out Selection criteria Undergraduate degree in relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Health) 10 to 15+ years (for Associate Director role) or 5 to 10+ years (for Manager Role) minimum experience in MERL roles within international development, humanitarian, or public policy settings Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Experience in managing complex projects across multicultural and multidisciplinary teams Experience leading the development and application of MEL systems with high levels of autonomy Experience delivering high-quality MERL outputs, progress reports, and case studies Previous experience working with donor funded programs e.g. DFAT, MFAT Experience working in the Pacific How to apply Click the "Apply for job" button.
