Closing date – Monday 30th September 2024 @23:59 hrs About the role Your role will be critical in helping Hampshire Constabulary with their purpose of making 'You, Your Family, and Our Communities Safer'.
To identify, gather, evaluate and disseminate information to support problem solving on some of the challenges the Force faces.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with customers to identify and assist problem solving, identify appropriate and relevant data sources for the task at hand.Research, collate, evaluate and disseminate information from a wide range of open and closed information sources in relation to problems, patterns, trends and series to support analysis.Produce, evaluate and take responsibility for creating accurate, high quality and easy to use reports and contribute to products produced by analysts.Liaise with and work in partnership with other organisations, to gather and research information.Maintain knowledge of the current products and Force priorities.Prepare data, charts, maps etc.

Essential Qualifications Educated to QCF Level 2 (5 passes to include English language and Maths) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience Experience of researching and collating data.Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate and timely reports.Demonstrate a basic understanding of research processes and techniques.Ability to use own initiative and possessing good time management skills.Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.Good literacy and numeracy skills.
