Monty's Leap is looking for a hospitality professional.
The Manager is required to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant which include giving our guests the best possible dining experience, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring the efficiency of all processes, and creating a positive work environment.
The role also requires regular meetings with the directors and head chef to stay up to date with organizational changes, issues, and improvements.
This highly important role also focuses on staff training, team leadership and always ensuring we consistently deliver efficient and professionally friendly service to every one of our guests.

Monty's Leap is located on the banks of the Kalgan River overlooking the vineyards and immaculate surrounds. RESTAURANT MANAGER ROLE:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and overseeing events.
Provide exceptional customer service ensuring expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Training of new staff and ongoing training.
Management of stock control.
Ensure staff are well briefed on menu items and daily service.
Oversee cash/EFT transactions to ensure accuracy and security.
Liaise with the head chef to ensure smooth operations between FOH and BOH.
Answer directly to the managing director.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory role in a high-end restaurant or similar.
Must be available to work during the day on weekends - this is our busiest time.
Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills.
Ability to work autonomously on completion of training.
High level of food safety awareness, current food handling certificate, and OHS training.
Hold an unrestricted Approved Managers Certificate & recent Police Clearance.
Salary range $75 - $80K per annum.
