Our client has begun a four year journey to implement a new contemporary and coordinated case management system to assist with the day to day running of a critical element to their department.
As the program reaches the critical testing phase, the Release Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the movement of releases to Dev, Test and Production environments for technical and business releases. This role will also work closely with the Program Iteration Manager, Environment Manager and the Technology Project Team to maintain a high standard of release management practices.
Key responsibilities Lead the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk.Liaise with Project teams, vendors, business and IT partners on release scheduling for all environments and provide communication on progress.Lead the creation of release plans and schedules to ensure all release activities are identified, scheduled and managed across the lifecycle of the releases.Apply knowledge of configuration management, environment management, change management, release management, development lifecycles, quality assurance and project management to ensure release quality and compliance is undertaken throughout the releases.Develop release and deployment artefacts and highlight reports to report on achievements, progress, risks and issues.Conduct post release reviews.Identify release risks and/or issues and report to management.Work with minimal supervision amongst other multi-disciplinary professionals to deliver to defined timelines.Essential requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in Release / Implementation management for a large ProgramExperience in using Service Now or similar applications.Proficient in using Microsoft products such Project, PowerPoint, Excel etc.Being aware of ITIL methodologies/ ITIL certifiedAbility to interpret architecture diagrams and documents.Experience in as a Service (SaaS) products and solutionsExperience in using Microsoft WIKI and Microsoft DevOps.Demonstrated Release/Environment management experience in CRM and Case Management applications.Relevant IT and/or solution delivery Agile methodology experience.Experience with coordinating resources.Have strong people skills and ability to work well in a team.Must be results-oriented, detailed, and self-motivated.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Emma Metzger on +617 3339 5618 or email ****** and quote the above job reference number.
