Westpac Commercial Banking supports Australian industry through a network of professional bankers, specialists, and support teams, and we're committed to offering deep industry expertise to our customers. A critical part of our success is our ability to target high growth opportunities and grow your capability, by leveraging your strong commercial lending skills. You will ensure our customer's needs are met and give them a great experience.

This is a really important role for us! You will combine your knack for networking with your lending know-how to generate new business for Westpac. As a Relationship Director in our NSW Commercial Banking team, you will be a senior member of the team and network and build relationships with external partners, attracting customers from preferred broker flows or competitors. You will be an advocate for our outstanding service promise with the aim of growing future business and referrals.

What do I need?

We are looking for a seasoned banker with extensive experience in corporate & commercial lending. Strong credit skills are a must, and you'll be experienced with complex cashflow deal structuring. You will also be supported by a team of analysts and portfolio managers. A natural people-person, you will boast an impressive track record in relationship building and business development, including the acquisition of new to bank customers and a well-established network of referral sources and brokers. Although this role does not have direct people management responsibilities, the expectation is that you will be a senior member of the Commercial Banking team that drives strategy implementation, client acquisition as well as mentoring and coaching of junior staff members.
