About us Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane's busiest medical precinct, above the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of the CBD, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. Brisbane Private Hospital specialises in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Brisbane Private Hospital also delivers a leading private drug and alcohol program, Damascus Health Services, from its dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.
As a Registered Nurse your duties will include: Provide evidenced based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsAt least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse within a Hospital setting, ideally within PerioperativePrevious experience within the washroom and procedure roomCurrent Registration with AHPRACommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?
