About the role Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their Oncology unit in a casual capacity.
As a RN, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, willingness to facilitate and encourage cohesive, positive professional relationships and be required to demonstrate problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes relevant to the ward.
About you To be considered for this position, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions)Demonstrated high levels of communication (both written and verbal) and clinical problem-solving skillsThe ability to function within a multidisciplinary team environmentPrevious experience with administering chemotherapy and experience with CVADS is desirable however not required. If no experience, willingness to acquire the skillPrevious experience within oncology is desired but not necessary. Training can be provided for the right candidate.You will have strong leadership ability and experience, excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to promote the philosophy and values of Mater to all staff.
