This service provides urgent appointments for illnesses and injuries - similar to those which would be managed at a GP clinic but when patients are unable to see their usual doctor. Previous experience in outpatient clinics and/or emergency departments is desirable, and the ability to work unsupervised and autonomously is a must along with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Enjoying close-knit community involvement and family-friendly rostering, you will have the opportunity to expand and develop your country nursing skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Gumeracha District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is a small quaint hospital serving the Torrens Valley and Onkaparinga Wards of the Adelaide Hill Council Area.You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
