Shifts to cover 40 hours in a two week roster, across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (outlined below)

RSL LifeCare is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team at our flagship facilities - Peter Badcoe House, Newcastle. This role will see you supporting our elderly residents with activities of daily living, mobility support and person-centered care to help them live their best life.

What are we looking for:

Current AHPRA registration with verifiable experience working with the elderly or vulnerable individuals in a group home or community setting

Be committed to Clinical Excellence

Experience in training colleagues in wound care is a huge plus!

Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to adapt to changing demands and work under pressure

Australian work rights

Infection Prevention and Control Leads (IPC) Certified or willingness to get certified is desirable

The shift pattern for this role will be:

Week 1

Wednesday 13:30 €" 22:30

Thursday 13:30 €" 22:30

Week 2

Wednesday 07:30 €" 16:30

Thursday 13:30 €" 22:30

Friday 13:30 €" 22:30

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
