This includes providing support and direction to other staff while role modeling and promoting professional standards of practice and conduct.Whilst displaying the highest level of clinical standards, you will be responsible for:Actively contributing towards the Quality, Safety, and Work, Health and Safety processes in the clinical areaSupporting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provisionProviding clinical guidance, leadership, and education to members of the clinical team to ensure consistent and collaborative implementation of improvement activitiesAchieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of careDemonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding careMaintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growthAbout youTo be successful in your application for this position, it is essential that you have:Current Midwifery registration with AHPRASignificant post-graduate midwifery experienceAdvanced clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing/midwifery practiceEffective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care within the multidisciplinary teamCommitment to the continuous improvement of health care and midwifery practice, and to continuing professional development of self and othersWillingness to commit to and role model the Mater valuesYou will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires someone who is enthusiastic, able to show initiative, and work well in a team.
