The Prison Health Service operates between the Townsville Men's Correctional Centre (TCC) and Townsville Women's Correctional Centre (TWCC), providing primary health care to patients within the prison setting. Responsibilities include medication administration, health education, chronic disease case management, responding to emergencies, and working within a multidisciplinary team to provide equitable and safe care.The Registered Nurse will be responsible for contributing to improving patient outcomes within the Townsville Correctional Centre, underpinned by the Reducing Barriers to Health and Wellbeing:Coordinating patient-centred careCreating partnershipsImproving patient outcomesFacilitating systems improvementRole requirementsBachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
