About the opportunity At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Registered Nurse, you'll help create cherished moments and better health outcomes for residents each day.

The Registered Nurse practices as per the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) policy and guidelines regarding nursing scope of practice.
They are a member of the multidisciplinary team who work closely with Residents and their families or representatives.
They are expected to be role models, complete day to day tasks and report any issues and adverse advents to the Clinical Care Co-ordinator.
They will work closely with staff and assist them in undertaking assessments, treatment, documentation and activities.
They will have a number of year's experience in aged care settings and have the ability to work independently.

The Registered Nurse will have an important role in providing leadership to staff and be expected to lead in the provision of quality care to residents by ensuring the delivery of skilled, individualised care to the highest possible professional standard.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
Recognised tertiary qualification and current full Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Demonstrated record of achievement and experience working in Residential Aged Care.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.

Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
