(Pro Rata) RN/M1 | Multiple permanent positions available - Varying hours per week up to Full-time Join our Extended Capacity Team to support expanded care across Flinders Medical Centre About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role is integral to the provision of quality care across Flinders Medical Centre.
Duties for the role will include: Assessing individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.Providing direct person centred nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients on a shift by shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.
Supporting nursing practice and learning experiences for students undertaking clinical placements, orientation for new staff and preceptorship of graduates.
The Extended Capacity service operates 24/7 to service clinical needs.
Applicants will need to be available for all shifts across a 24/7 roster.
About you: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Demonstrated competence in General Medical nursing in accordance with the relevant standards Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.Want To Know More?
