Newcastle Private Hospital is currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurses to join our close-knit, friendly and hardworking Cath Lab team on a full time basis.

Newcastle Private Hospital has opportunities for Registered Nurses to join the team in the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab in a critical role working within the Cardiology services of Newcastle Private. This will provide an opportunity to work with a progressive and dynamic team of Cardiologists, and the supportive and friendly nursing and radiology staff of the Angiography Suite.
Diagnostic and interventional Cardiology along-side Electrophysiology procedures and device implants provides a stimulating and challenging work environment.
You would be available to work within a flexible work environment, whilst being committed to providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment.
As a Registered Cath Lab Nurse your responsibilities will include: Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms, pacemakers, vascular procedures and more Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for Safe Practice Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in Cath Lab, Coronary Care or ICU Working with Children check Bachelor of Nursing Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused Why Healthscope? If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses' and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024" (salaries range between $35.46 and $49.79 per hour).
