Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Female Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide individualised support to clients in their homes, delivering care that is sensitive to their unique needs and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality support to clients in their homes.
Implement personalised care plans.
Monitor and record ongoing evaluations of clients' well-being.
Follow all recommendations as a part of a behaviour support plan.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective care.
Participate in education about mental health, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of care provided and progress made.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to mental health care and community support.
Requirements:
A valid Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration.
Proven experience with a focus on trauma-informed care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home care setting.
A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
Current National Police Check.
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for travel within the Gold Coast South and Tweed Heads areas.
