We now have an exciting opportunity for an excellent Administrator to support the team in providing first-class support to continue and influence the work of the team (working 3 days a week - please note that there is a requirement for staff to work from our East Midlands office in Castle Donnington).
In this role, your key duties will be:
Providing administration support to the Team Manager and members of the Social Work Team, including retained staff resources:Working with all team members to enable them to meet their targetsSupporting their diary trackingDealing with reports and filesDeveloping and maintaining standards and practices with regards to document layouts and controls for all CFT papersUtilising the CHARMS database system to ensure all relevant details are up-to-date, accurate, and complete for the East Midlands region.Undertaking reception duties for the office and answering incoming telephone calls.Maintaining close contact with other CFT offices to ensure a consistent approach to CFT-wide administration matters.Assisting with enquiries from prospective foster carers and recruitment of new carers.Assisting as needed with preparation for East Midlands CFT events.Assisting with the organisation of training and development programmes provided by the East Midlands office for its Carers and potential Carers.Maintaining the contractually, regulatory or operationally required files for:CarersProspective CarersChildren placed with the TrustAny other files as may be necessary for the effective operation of the region.Ensuring that security of the office is maintained, especially when empty.Such other activities which arise as part of the normal day-to-day activities of a busy and expanding office, which are reasonably within the capability of the jobholder and ancillary to those above.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Strong IT skillsConfidential and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingSelf-organised, energetic, enthusiastic, welcoming, forward-thinking, and creative.Aptitude for automating and streamlining office processesGood time managementAbility to work as a member of a team whilst also using own initiativeAbility to travel to other regions is a must to support our wider requirements (Clean Driving License)Empathetic and compassionate #J-18808-Ljbffr
