If you are looking to join a dynamic team, work in a fast-paced and positive environment and have extensive Revenue Management experience, we would love to hear from you.About the RoleThis Revenue position is an integral part of a high-performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success. In this role, you will work closely with LHG Vice President – Revenue Strategy & Distribution and Senior Executives to assist in driving a culture of accountability by setting the right metrics and tying regional performance and compensation to tangible results. Your direct responsibility is for The Langham, Melbourne and The Langham, Sydney, responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and market share through inventory and pricing controls.Responsibilities include:Direct and oversee the implementation of Revenue objectives encompassing each hotel's ideal business mix to achieve RevPAR Index growth and forecasting accuracy.Participate in the development of each hotel's annual business plan, budget, and day-by-day forecast by segment.Ensure achievement of the annual budget by working with each sales department in securing profitable group, transient, and catering businesses.Partner closely with Regional Sales Leaders on cross-functional initiatives to help meet goals and optimize the business mix at each hotel.Analysis of future trends, including star data, group and transient booking pace review.Coordinate revenue management training programs that enable colleagues to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.Work closely with the marketing function to support package approval and loading.Work with the entire revenue management team to assist in the development of tools and systems to maximize revenues and profitability.Support in recruitment and succession planning efforts for all Director of Revenue Management job openings.Chair the monthly Revenue Management conference calls with a report out and analysis of the previous month's statistics and future trends.Assist with Regional Director of Sales & Marketing on Revenue Generating initiatives.For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Prefer 5+ years of experience in developing and leading revenue management for a global brand with a strategic vision for how to maximize business results through electronic distributions.Experience in managing booking engine systems.Experience with attending Owner meetings and engaging with senior leadership.Well-developed leadership skills; effective relationship management skills and strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Experience of working for multiple revenue business models.Good track record successfully in developing and implementing revenue solutions in dealing with people with different backgrounds and cultures.High level of attention to detail, organized, proactive, self-motivated, and independent.In return for your expertise and professionalism, you will be rewarded with:Free room nights to stay at Langham hotels worldwide.Discounted room nights for family and friends.Free staff meals.Opportunities to learn new skills and grow your career.
