Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Cairns Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is an international Christian organisation whose purpose is to bring help, hope and healing through aviation to people living in isolation and poverty.Every 5.5 minutes a MAF aircraft takes off or lands somewhere in the world, transporting people who live in remote villages and assisting missions, churches, aid and development agencies and others working to transform the lives of remote and isolated communities.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to play a pivotal role in leading and directing Mission Aviation Fellowship International (MAFI) operations as the Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region.As the Regional Director Asia Pacific for MAFI, you will play a crucial role in our mission to reach the isolated communities of the Asia Pacific with the love of Christ. You will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to our programs in the region, ensuring that we are effectively meeting the needs of the people we have been called to serve.ResponsibilitiesThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader with a passion for serving others and spreading the Gospel through aviation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) you will be responsible for implementing strategic priorities and ensuring operational excellence. While always fostering a culture of collaboration and service delivery aligned with MAFIs mission and values.In your role as Regional Director, you will:Develop and implement effective long-term strategies and short-term objectives in alignment with MAFs overall mission and priorities.Lead and mentor the Asia Pacific Country Directors to facilitate effective program performance. To support them to grow and develop their teams, as well as their own overall leadership growth within their roles.Oversee the training and development of staff and ensure staff are cared for on a personal, spiritual, and corporate level.Ensure compliance with all relevant policies both internal and external including: HR policies, financial management, risk mitigation and other regulatory policies.Engage actively in the Operations Leadership Team, addressing operational challenges and contributing to strategic planning for MAFI across all regions.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceIf you have a passion for serving others and sharing the love of Christ this is a meaningful and challenging leadership opportunity.
