As a result of this change, we have a number of newly created Regional Director roles, bringing together disability, families, children and young people programs and services within our Community Services  stream. The Regional Director position is instrumental in delivering exceptional leadership and team performance across operations whilst creating and implementing strategies to drive and achieve Mercy Community's goals in the Southeast Region: South (Brisbane, Caboolture, Logan and Gold Coast); West (Ipswich, Toowoomba & Warwick); and North (Townsville and Cairns).

Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available What you'll be doing Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Community Services, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensure efficient overall operations management of the region aligned with organisational requirements Deliver Mercy Community strategy in the region Planning, delivery, review, and reporting of programs and services achieves targets and requirements Effective management of regional budgets and ongoing financial analysis to support sustainability and growth Identify and investigate service gaps and proactively seek / analyse / recommend opportunities aligned with Mercy Community's strategic direction Build capability and lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement that lifts quality and performance and is responsive to cultural diversity and equity About you As the successful applicant, you will possess:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience leading effective delivery of community services in a senior leadership role. Strong management skills including financial, people management, risk, regulatory, compliance, and quality Experience leading and managing client-focused programs and services and driving quality outcomes Ability to effectively build workforce capacity High level interpersonal and professional communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's Licence You must hold a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and be able to obtain a positive Police Check and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required Qualifications in Management/ Business Experience with NDIS An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and societies and the issues which impact upon them in contemporary society together with a commitment to culturally appropriate engagement and practice Why Mercy Community Mercy Community a Catholic not-for-profit that provides a wide range of services supporting families and young people, people living with a disability and the elderly.
