This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing, with the employment type to be determined in negotiation with the preferred candidate and the NIAA delegate.
Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.
A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

The Opportunity: The Regional Corporate Administration Officer plays an important role supporting the NIAA to work in genuine partnership and enable self-determination of First Nations Communities.
The Regional Corporate Administration Officer is professional and approachable, providing assistance and services to a range of stakeholders and team members.
They make decisions within defined procedural parameters and offer suggestions for small scale improvements to processes within the team or branch.

These two vacancies are part of the place-based teams located in Toowoomba (1 vacancy) and Rockhampton (1 vacancy).
Additional travel to other NIAA sites across the network including Canberra may be required.
