The roleWe are currently seeking the services of a Regional Business Development Manager to help develop and deliver the business development strategy centred on driving revenue growth and new pathways across all income lines relevant to the assigned retail assets.
Based in our Melbourne office, the Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for the regional management and strategic direction for third party revenue such as casual mall leasing, vacant shops, media and sponsorships.
You will play an integral role in key stakeholder management and developing pathways to grow the centres net income whilst also creating enhanced experiences and destinations.
What you will be doingGrowing sales productivity of your region through tight management of sales pipeline and implementing strategies to deliver conversion.Proactively managing key accounts across the region, specifically targeting retailers for multi-asset deals across the portfolio.Adopting the lead role in key internal stakeholder relationships, including with Regional General Managers, Centre Managers, Leasing and Development to problem solve to support team sales productivity.Working closely with the media team to devise strategies to drive local market media revenue across the region.Taking responsibility for the budget and accountability for monthly reporting and forecasting of all income lines for the region.Proactively lead key projects that are solutions focused and deliver exceptional customer experiences, generate revenue and achieve operational efficiencies for the Business Development function.Working in conjunction with the Asset-based Leasing teams on operational leasing matters including tenant banking support, incubating retailers we are looking to convert and precinct-based vacant shop strategies.What makes you stand outYour significant prior experience in sales or business development with a proven track record generating new business income and delivering initiatives to consistently meet budget. Previous retail property or media sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Your strong team leadership skills and your ability to motivate, manage and develop a passionate team.
More importantly, you are self-motivated and solution focused, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Given the financial measures of this position, you will also need meticulous financial management and budgeting skills as well as the ability develop timelines and deliver key initiatives.
