These are two of Western Australia's premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.
The Opportunity
We are now seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our maintenance team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Supervisor: Electrical Maintenance. This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities:
Complete planned and unplanned scheduled work orders in Processing Plant, Offices and Underground Mining. Assisting with planning of tasks. Daily facility and infrastructure inspections. Refrigeration callouts if required. Scoping / Execution of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment tasks. Assisting other trades within the team. Maintaining ARC audit evidence and refrigeration standards. Maintaining Inventory and Stock Levels. About You
To be considered, we would like to see you have:
WA Restricted Electrical License. Previous experience installing & maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment in a mining environment. Working at heights / Confined Space tickets (preferred). Previous experience with SAP maintenance Management System highly desirable. Basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience. A solid knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. A current manual driver's license.
