Join Ramsay Mental Health as a Referral Engagement Officer, supporting Ramsay Clinic New Farm and Ramsay Psychology Clinics in Brisbane.
About the Role Reporting to the hospital CEO and collaborating with the Doctor Engagement Manager, you will drive referral growth by engaging with healthcare professionals, promoting hospital services, and enhancing community awareness.
Your focus will include building relationships with doctors, specialists, and other stakeholders, while developing strategies to increase referrals and raise the profile of Ramsay's mental health services in the community.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with teams to develop and execute growth strategies.Promote specialists, psychologists, and programs through practice visits and other initiatives to increase referrals.Target non-admitting psychiatrists to promote Ramsay's mental health outreach and day programs.Deliver targeted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs for specialists, registrars, GPs, and other health professionals.Develop communications to showcase new and existing specialists and services.Build and maintain relationships with new and existing practices.Engage in community outreach to boost Ramsay Mental Health's profile.Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business goals.Identify and leverage growth opportunities.Manage and grow the referral network database, ensuring detailed records.Provide monthly reports to assess the effectiveness of activities and demonstrate ROI through increased referrals. Your Essential Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role in healthcare.Strong understanding of medical specialists and referral dynamics with GPs and other healthcare professionals.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.Ability to effectively engage key healthcare stakeholders.Experience in using data to monitor markets, build opportunity pipelines, and develop growth strategies.Proficiency in cold calling and influencing referrer groups.Desirable: Experience in the private healthcare sector.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Health.Event management experience. This is a full-time position. An open driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required. Remuneration will be based on experience and skills.
