Recreation Attendant, Swim Instructor, Lifeguard - All Rounder

The Town of Gawler is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced team member to work between the Gawler Sport & Community Centre and the Gawler Aquatic Centre.
This is a year round position, perfect for those looking to get into the Sport and Recreation sector.
With a focus on outdoor work at the Gawler Aquatic Centre in summer and the opportunity for continued work at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre through winter.The RoleAs an all rounder, you will be responsible for:Working in a variety of roles across the Aquatic and Recreation Facilities.Provide high levels of customer service and communication to patrons across both Centre's, to ensure a positive customer experience.Ensuring the safety of patrons and responding to first aid situations in accordance with level of training and the role undertaken.Delivering and undertaking key responsibilities with your role under guidance from your Duty Supervisor.Have a thorough understanding of facility policies, procedures and safety initiatives and programs in place.
Attend team meetings and training sessionsEnsure compliance with safe work practices and WHS policiesAssist with the effective operations and delivery of programs across Aquatic and Recreation facilities.
