About The Royal Sydney Golf Club

The Royal Sydney Golf Club, a private members club, is fortunate to be considered one of Australia's most prominent social and sporting institutions, having proudly hosted a number of world class sporting events including the Australian Open on 15 occasions and the 2011 Davis Cup. It is recognised nationally and internationally for its world class sporting facilities which include two golf courses, 18 tennis courts, bowling greens, croquet lawns, squash courts, snooker tables, a gym, swimming pools, cafes, club bar, a dining room, 18 accommodation rooms and multiple function rooms.
The role: Reporting in to the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will be the hub of information for the Club and be responsible for creating a seamless member experience at the front desk and delivering exceptional service levels.

This is a part-time role offering 15-20 hours a week, requiring flexible availability to work during the week, on weekends and public holidays (rotating roster) with shifts ranging from 5.30am starts to 9.30pm finishes. Key tasks include: Deliver the highest standard of service experience to members and their guestsEnsure the Club's rules and regulations are adhered to including enforcing the dress regulationsAssist members and guests with all enquiries in a professional and timely mannerOrganise bookings for accommodation and confirm accommodation request prior to check inPerform check ins and check outs for members who are staying in the accommodation roomsRemain up to date at all times with the day's meetings, fixtures and upcoming events in the Green BookOrder taxis/ubers for members and guests as requiredAssist members and guests with purchases in the Cellar Door, and other Reception based retail initiativesOrganise bookings for Dining Room/Club BarWhat does the Club need from me? Minimum 1 year experience in either a Reception or admin related roleDemonstrate a passion for customer serviceDemonstrated high levels of organisation, time management skills and composure under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHave intermediate computer skills including word, excel and outlook programsHave customer service and front desk experienceBe available to work flexible hours, this includes morning, afternoon, weekends and public holidaysAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships with other staffNSW RSAWork with us!
