Receptionist (Administration & Office Support)
We are a successful not-for-profit aged care provider, offering a comprehensive range of services, including independent retirement living, home support, home care services, and residential care.
Barossa Village is currently looking for a full-time Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our friendly team based in the beautiful Barossa Valley.
The opportunity:
Working across both our Residency and Lodge sites, the primary purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of customer service and administrative support to the staff, residents, and visitors of Barossa Village.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Act as the first point of contact for face-to-face, phone, and email client enquiries. Maintain a busy switchboard and handle internal and external queries. Meet and greet visitors, staff, and residents. Assist with data entry and administration support for accounting processes associated with receipting and handling of petty cash. Coordination and administration of maintenance requests; stationary orders; internal and external mail; vehicle and room bookings; and client meal bookings. Other general administration duties as required. Exceptional Customer Service skills and behaviours. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work effectively unsupervised. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Participate in the Annual Mandatory Vaccination Program. Experience using EFTPOS (including end of day reconciliation), cash-handling and accurate data entry. Excellent conflict resolution skills and complaint management skills. Previous experience in an administrative role. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Previous aged care experience or relevant qualification. General understanding of Consumer Directed Care principles, and the Retirement Villages Act, and Community Home Care. Experience with Leecare or similar software. Basic accounts knowledge.
