Primary purpose of the roleThis is an administrative role which involves the delivery of high quality clerical support such as wordprocessing, data entry, records maintenance and other administrative functions that support the provision ofan efficient and effective prosecution service.Key accountabilities• Provide general administrative and clerical support functions including organising meetings andconferences, word processing, data entry, record maintenance and maintaining stores and stationery• Prepare correspondence, generate subpoena and police notices from CASES to assist Legal staff withpractice management.• Accurately compile and photocopy material for prosecution and assist Legal staff in case preparation.• Provide quality reception service by screening all phone calls and responding to enquiries professionallyand in a timely manner.Key challenges• Determine work priorities to ensure competing deadlines and demands are met and to ensurediplomacy and sensitivity when dealing with all stakeholders.• Working with a diverse group of people, which may include contact with distressed victims of mattersbeing prosecuted by the Office.
