Ready Set Go… Let'S Move Trainer

Are you a trainer with a passion for exercise and wellness? Interested in supporting people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes? Then we want to hear from you!

Diabetes NSW & ACT are accepting expressions of interest from trainers who would like to combine their passion for exercise and wellness with a more structured classroom style delivery. Ready Set Go...Let's Move is for people living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who know exercise is good for their health but may struggle with knowing where to start and how to stay motivated.

What is the Ready Set Go... Let's Move program? The Ready Set Go...Let's Move program consists of a three-hour workshop to help participants feel empowered and supported to make exercise part of their routine. Alternatively, it can also provide strategies so participants can increase the amount of exercise they are already doing.

During the Ready Set Go...Let's Move workshop you will help participants:

Understand the positive effects that exercise can have on blood glucose levels. Discuss possible stumbling blocks that could be stopping participants from being more active.
