You will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise. A snapshot of works this role will be undertaking on a day-to-day basis includes:
Managing contractorsEnsuring volunteers work safely during tree plantingInspecting the infrastructure in visitor sitesWalking track clearingProviding talks to groupsPlanning for road repairsAddressing concerns and customer complaintsDeveloping work orders for field staffWriting newslettersLooking after plant and equipmentLiaising with other agenciesOccasionally engaging in grant writingWe're looking for someone with: Experience in self-management and supervisory skills.Experience in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.Availability to work weekends and public holidays if required.A tertiary qualification in Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable.Your application will need to include: A current ResumeIf this sounds like you, and you would like to help build on our works to support visitors, the environment, and heritage, then we would like to hear from you.
