You will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise.
A snapshot of works this role will be undertaking on a day to day basis: Managing contractors, ensuring volunteers work safely during tree planting, inspecting the infrastructure in visitor sites, walking track clearing, providing talks to groups, planning for road repairs, addressing concerns and customer complaints, developing work orders for field staff, writing news letters, looking after plant and equipment, liasing with other agencies and sometimes even a bit of grant writing.
We're looking for someone with: * Experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
* Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
* The incumbent must be available to work weekends and public holidays if required.
* A tertiary qualification in Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable.
