Benefits: Work on one of the biggest projects in Western Sydney that will pave the way for your career Growth and development opportunities Competitive remuneration package Supportive and collaborative work culture For our Western Sydney applicants, work close to home    The Opportunity: Parklife Metro have a great career opportunity available for a Rail Safety Administration & Reporting Officer to come onboard and provide effective administration support to the Rail Safety Team to ensure we meet our obligations under the Rail Safety National Law (RSNL) and to contribute to the successful and safe delivery of the Project.
Employed by Webuild, the role on offer is a full-time role based at our Integrated Project Office (IPO) in St Marys.
This is an ideal next step opportunity for someone who has a strong background in Rail Safety and obtains the ability to manage a high level of administrative and reporting duties.
Responsibilities: Provide a high level of administrative support to the Rail Safety Team as required, including but not limited to, word processing, presentation preparation, spreadsheets, meeting and workshop management and schedules.
Where reporting lines apply, lead, coordinate and coordinate weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements for Rail Safety and to meet ONRSR reporting obligations.
Provide project support as required, inclusive of conducting research on subjects, technologies, practices, and procedures as directed.
Coordinate where required meetings and/or conferences, including venue bookings, arranging attendees and equipment, agenda and/or minute preparation, travel/accommodation arrangements.
Project support for training requirements.
Conduct data analysis to monitor, assess and reporting on trends that will form part of reporting obligations.
Contribute as a team member towards achieving best practice in the smooth, efficient, and responsive delivery of all administrative support functions, document management and projects, specifically to meet our obligations under Rail Safety National Law Communicate effectively with management, staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure a productive and harmonious teamwork environment.
Coordination of activities, events and forums for the team.
Provide any other assistance to the HSQE Director and Rail Safety Team as directed.
Criteria: Qualification in Rail Safety, Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent desirable but not essential or some experience in WHS or within the rail and/or construction industries.
Knowledge and understanding of the Rail Safety National Law.
Ability to build strong working relationships with the team, the client, and key stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Understanding of current rail safety, legislation, codes of practices, processes, and industry best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communications, and presentation skills Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment.
