Radiology Medical Typist

CASUAL TYPING POOL OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a skilled Medical Typist with specialized experience in radiology for CAIRNS.
POSITION IS PHYSICALLY BASED AT THE HOSPITAL, IN CAIRNS (Not possible to work from home / remotely).
As a Medical Typist, your primary responsibility is to accurately transcribe medical reports, such as radiology reports, dictated by healthcare professionals.
What's on offer: AO3 level position currently paying $46.27 per hour or approx.
$52 /hr for afternoon shifts.
Hours could be suited to your availability Minimum 3-4 hours.

Key Responsibilities: Specialize in transcribing radiology reports, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
Interpret medical abbreviations and jargon to produce coherent and understandable reports.
Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in medical transcription software and tools.
Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in radiology.
Familiarity with diagnostic imaging procedures and terminology.
