The examination type is very wide and always interesting!
You will work closely with the Emergency Department with a varied caseload.To aid your success in this role, you will receive support and required training from our existing staff, as well as in-house education and course attendance where appropriate.

All sonographers spend part of their week performing radiography as part of injury management.The department boasts modern, state of the art equipment.

About you: We are looking for a team player who is patient focused and has a willingness to improve their skills and educate others.We will provide upskilling and education for the right candidate for any areas where their skills are incomplete.Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following*: Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 for the first 12-months Retention incentive of up to $10,000 thereafter annually *All payments and reimbursements made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.
Attraction incentives will be paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance on top of your base salary + 11.5% superannuation.

Eligibility to transfer existing incentive packages will be determined and approved by the health organisation.

Requirements : Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold/ current NSW EPA Radiation licence and ASAR accreditation Post graduate qualification in Medical Sonography and registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Participate in the Rosters, overtime and on-call duties as required by the site, and which may change from time to time Additional information: To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
