This is a
Permanent Role,
working Full-Time (38hrs), across Monday-Friday business hours.

Starting Salary:
Your base salary will depend on how many years' experience as an RT you bring, and will significantly increase as you progress to Senior, Charge and Management Roles. For our standard RT role, the hourly rate ranges between $47.47hr + Super (i.e., less than one year's experience) to $59.80hr + Super (6+ years experience).
About the Role:
Our staff have the ability to work across two radiation oncology centres in Cairns- the newly opened world-class Private centre and the established Cairns Hospital Liz Plummer Cancer Care Centre. Continued professional development is strongly supported at Icon, with dedicated CPD leave and allowance for all radiation therapists, a national in-service program, and education/training advisors available to support career progression and aspiration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
Exhibit a strong patient focus and treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centric and collaborative approach.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated and quick to adapt in a supportive environment.
Skills & Experience:
Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.
Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.
Understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector.
Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively both independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with QLD Radiation Use Licence.
