Operational Services Supervisor, Queensland Health An exciting temporary full-time employment opportunity is available for an experienced Operational Services Supervisor at Charters Towers Hospital.
Charters Towers Hospital is a 25-bed facility located in Charters Towers, Queensland, about 134km west of Townsville.
It is a level 3 (CSCF), non-birthing, 23 bed rural hospital with emergency and ambulatory services.
Ambulatory services include community health nursing, child health nursing, home care services, midwifery group practice (non-birthing), advanced health worker, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and social work onsite.

Employment Term:
Fixed Term Temporary full-time, 2 months with possible extension not exceeding 12 months.
The Opportunity:
The Operational Services Supervisor is responsible for the efficient provision of laundry, cleaning, porterage, and catering services at the Charters Towers Health Service, which also services Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility and Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit.
The role ensures that Operational Services are planned, implemented, managed, and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
Requirements:
Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
Wage and Benefits:
Wage rate ranges between $2585.80 - $2710.40 p.h.
(OO3).
Annual leave with a 17.5% loading.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
