Queensland Government | Senior Executive Support Officer

Details of the offer

As our Senior Executive Support Officer, you will:Support the Manager, Executive Services Unit in the preparation, management, and monitoring of all ministerial and executive correspondence, briefing notes and reports to ensure high quality documentation is provided to the Director-General and Minister, and that key timeframes are met, including overseas travel proposals and reports.

Maintain effective relationships with the Ministers' Offices, Office of the Director-General, and departmental officers.

Prepare accurate correspondence performance reports for the Ministers, Director-General, and senior departmental officers.

Contribute to the effective management and continuous improvement of executive correspondence processes and procedures, and to the department's electronic document and records management system as it relates to executive correspondence.

Provide timely direction, guidance, and advice to departmental officers on correspondence processes, systems, and protocols.

Complete a range of financial and administrative tasks as directed by the Manager, Executive Services Unit or the Director, Office of the Director-General.

Participate as an active member of the Executive Services Unit and the broader Office of the Director-General team by contributing ideas and supporting other team members, including through the training of new staff.

Applications to remain current for 12 months.
