Quarry Weighbridge Officer Operator

Maryborough Quarry,  a part of Barro Group –  is seeking to engage a Quarry Weighbridge Operator.
Excellent base wage + overtime and leave accruals.
We are looking for a hands on person who likes customer service and office work but has most probably had a previous background in the trucking, quarrying or transport industries as either a driver, operator or administrator.
The key responsibilities: Operate computer-based weighbridge system - taking accurate customer phone orders and effecting delivery of productsSchedule truck loadsCarry out some quarry safety inductions for contractors, truck drivers and visitorsUndertake day-to-day administration activities Multi task and at times work under pressure to meet customer requirementsAnswer phone calls and provide customer supportWork as part of a very small office teamWork flexible hours including regular Saturday morningsMust be reliable and punctualFollow company systems including working safelyOnly applicants who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar role should apply by emailing your resume to [email protected].
