Contract - 6 Months with extensions
Location - Sydney - Hybrid - 2/3 Days in office
Daily Rate - $650 - $750 Inclusive of Super PD

My client is a house hold name in Australia and globally recognised as a leader in their field. They have a wide range of products and services. We're looking for a Quality Engineer that has a strong understanding of backend and frontend automation and testing to work with the Test Lead on a large program of work. The position requires someone who is pro-active, outstanding oral and written communications.

This is a 6 month contract with extensions based on performance. This is a multi-year program of work.

Responsibilities Collaborated with BAs and Engineers to develop clear, testable, and automatable Acceptance Criteria, ensuring complete coverage. Created and executed test notes/cases, aligned with requirements, and maintained test plans to support comprehensive quality assurance. Promoted quality ownership within the squad, including automation suite maintenance and managing data requirements. Identified and tracked issues within squad processes, ensuring they were addressed or accepted in alignment with stories. Engaged in CI/CD practices, adhered to coding standards, raised environment issues, and actively participated in squad ceremonies. Experience 3 + years of quality, automation and testing Experienced with both UI and API Automation, ideally Cypress and Rest Assured.
