About the role The Quality & Clinical Specialist is responsible for promoting best practice quality and clinical practices, with the ultimate outcome of consistently achieving person-centred health promotion outcomes for residents and clients.
The focus of the Quality & Clinical Specialist role is defining, monitoring, reporting and providing mentoring on quality and clinical practices, processes and outcomes.
This relates to both at site/service level and collectively at organisational level.
As the role does require travel to sites as needed to review residents/clients a current Drivers Licence is essential to this role.

About you We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills: Bachelor or Post-Graduate Degree in Nursing or an Allied Health profession, enabling registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency Current registration and practising certificate with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency Minimum of 5 years relevant post registration experiences Current / relevant Drivers Licence Expertise in residential and community aged care quality and clinical practice and governance Experience working from a person centred healthy ageing approach Proven experience in staff leadership to achieve best practice outcomes Proficient skills to provide sound clinical risk assessment and person centred risk mitigation strategies in aged care Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely Effective problem solving, negotiation and decision making skills Proficient computer and keyboard skills and the ability to use Google Workspace apps (or similar), electronic clinical care systems and in house databases A basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role.
