Job Description Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Knowsley Council, Child Protection Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
Manage child protection team, consisting of social workers who respond to referrals from the mash, hold child in need and child protection cases as well as placement with parents. Child Protection work. Care Management. Manage a case load. Home Visits. Court Work. Liaise with other professionals. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance. Successful candidates will benefit from:
