Qualified Pump Fitter & Turner

We're offering a Permanent full-time, hands-on role that focuses on the water industry, combining both workshop and on-site tasks.
We're looking for a dedicated individual who's confident with mechanical duties and has at least 2 years of experience in the pump sector.
If you're ready to join a passionate team, we're offering up to $60 per hour + Penalties + Super for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Strip, rebuild, service, and install pumps, electric motors, and gearboxes.
Perform detailed equipment assessments and diagnostics.
Operate manual lathes and milling machines.
Follow all safety procedures and site-specific regulations.
Occasional fieldwork (80% workshop-based, 20% field-based).
Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Trade qualified Fitter & Turner.
Minimum of 2 years of pump industry experience.
Forklift license.
White Card.
Confined spaces and working at heights certifications.
Restricted Electrical License (Disconnect/Reconnect).
Hepatitis A & B vaccinations (due to wastewater work).
Strong team player with a positive attitude.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 am – 2:45 pm.
Friday: 6:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Average overtime: 2–4 hours per week.
