Clinical Nurse Consultant - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) role focuses on providing timely and efficient care to victims of sexual assault, following trauma-informed practices.
Operating within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service's Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), the CNC SANE collaborates with the SANE Coordinator to plan and deliver specialised forensic nursing care in the Gladstone Business Unit. The Team ensures responses to victim-survivors align with the Queensland Health Sexual Assault Services Framework, delivering high-quality support and nursing care for those disclosing sexual assault.
The CNC SANE provides timely, trauma-informed care for sexual assault victims, collaborating with the SANE Coordinator to deliver specialised nursing services in alignment with established health frameworks.
About you: The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one. It is a requirement of this position to be Credentialed as a SANE and demonstrated recency of practice is a mandatory for this position. While not mandatory, a relevant postgraduate diploma or master's degree would be highly regarded. What we offer: Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $65,684 p.a. is comprised of:
