The Senior Business Analyst role bridges the gap between our Technology and Business teams. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work on projects such as payroll transformation, managing the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to functional needs and user training activities. This position will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across Qantas' business and technology domains.
You'll have: Minimum 5 years' experience working in a business analyst or similar role Experience with payroll systems such as ADP GlobalView (preferred) HRIS experience (preferably Workday) Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills Experience working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies Proven experience validating and testing changes, managing software releases and planned changes Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences Excellent documentation skills Experience working on and delivering successful outcomes in large-scale IT project initiatives Experience working on large-scale and complex business environments Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with modern delivery frameworks including scrum, Kanban, lean, HCD, test automation and others
