About the role
Fixed term temporary part-time opportunity to deliver advanced level, evidence-based Psychology services and coordination of care for consumers of the Mental Health Intensive Discharge Team (MIND), their carers, and relevant stakeholders, as part of an interprofessional team to expedite discharge from Metro North Mental Health Facilities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Apply advanced and highly specialised knowledge of physical, neurological, psychiatric, developmental, cognitive, and sensory disabilities for patients with complex psychosocial disability and challenging behaviours, including use of evidence-based management principles, across inpatient and community settings.Work collaboratively in an interprofessional model via application of advanced communication skills with other members of the MIND team.Lead service improvements to enhance clinical outcomes including interprofessional, quality improvement, clinical research, and knowledge translation projects.
