Psychiatrist General Adult - Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist, Queensland HealthThe Department of Mental Health & AODS at the Mackay Base Hospital are looking for Psychiatrist General Adult - Staff Specialists to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time basis starting ASAP.Live, work and play in majestic Mackay. Join an expanding Health Service with a culture of collaboration, trust, respect and teamwork.Mackay Hospital and Health Service comprises an acute mental health inpatient facility with 24 beds and a Step-Up Step-Down Unit with 6 beds. Community Mental Health Services include an Acute Care Service, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Continuing Care Team, Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team, Early Psychosis, Child and Youth Mental Health, Older Persons Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs Service. The rural communities are serviced by outreaching community teams in the Moranbah and Whitsunday area.In addition to the Community Child and Youth Mental Health Service, we have an Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service which forms part of an integrated continuum of care for adolescents requiring mental health treatment. These services are based in Mackay with limited outreach services to Bowen, Moranbah and Sarina.
