The campus is also home to The Kolling – a medical research institute jointly governed with the University of Sydney For more information https://www.nslhd.health.nsw.gov.au/RNSH/Pages/default.aspx What you'll be doing The purpose of the position is to provide high level anaesthetic services to surgical, obstetric, radiology, psychiatry, gastroenterology endoscopy and analgesia services to the labour ward and an acute pain services in the hospital. It also provides preoperative assessment, consultation & resuscitation, trauma management and central venous access service. The Provisional Fellowship program at RNSH includes specific subspecialty roles in Airway management, Cardiothoracic anaesthesia and Simulation medicine. Preferences for these positions will be taken into consideration for successful applicants. Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role Demonstrated commitment to ongoing training in anaesthesia including completion of ANZCA final examinations and trainee modules Commitment to teaching and educational activities Commitment to Anaesthetic and/or perioperative research and quality improvement activities Demonstrated involvement with hospital, ANZCA or health-based projects and committee work Academic awards or other higher qualifications or skills applicable to anaesthesia Demonstrated Community or Professional Service For specific subspecialty roles (Cardiothoracic, Airway and Simulation), a demonstrated interest and commitment in subspecialty training.
