We are seeking an exceptionally talented and creative Executive Pastry Chef to lead our clients pastry division. The ideal candidate will possess an extraordinary eye for detail, a deep passion for innovation, and the ability to craft exquisite pastries that are both visually stunning and delicious. This role offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our culinary ventures, shaping the future of our pastry offerings and contributing to the expansion of their brand.
The Role:
Lead the development and execution of high-end pastry and dessert menus, ensuring each creation meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen, maintaining a seamless workflow and ensuring optimal productivity.
Collaborate with the executive culinary team to design and implement innovative pastry concepts for both our dining establishments and upcoming retail ventures.
Mentor and train junior pastry staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Maintain the highest levels of hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen.
Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients to keep our offerings at the cutting edge of pastry arts.
Candidate Profile:
Demonstrated experience at a hatted restaurant or Michelin-starred establishment is essential.
Exceptional skill in creating high-end pastries and desserts with a refined, artistic approach.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a talented team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Creative, innovative, and passionate about pushing the boundaries of pastry arts.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary banding from $130,000 - $150,000 plus super.
